Habits—They Make or Break
Us
We are all creatures of habit. Much of what we do each moment of
our day is based upon habitual patterns. As we go into the second month of
the year, make a list of the habits that serve you well. Exam how each
produces the positive results you experience. Resolve to grow the list and
fine-tune their effectiveness. Next, make a list of habits that do not serve
you well. Then, commit to remove each one from your daily habit patterns.
Replace them with new, life improvement habits. This exercise will propel
you ahead of the crowd because most are comfortable with their habits—good
and bad. They are not willing to do what they must to improve. But, you are
different. You are committed to continuous growth. You deserve a better
life. And, all improvement starts with the removal of the shackles of bad
habits that bind our progress to greatness.
